At Ease
Scriptural Reference: John 8:32 (KJV) "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
Ephesians 4:25 (KJV) "But speaking the truth in love...."
Full sigh and deep breath.
Repeat.
This is the way I am right now and since some special dear people who love me have spoken life transforming truth(s) to me.
There are occasions when we may find ourselves in conversations about our lives that has been witnessed by long-time friends, and close family relations. Our mutual proximity to one another is often a place where true bonds of emotional vulnerability and trust are created and strengthened with time.
I am so grateful to JESUS for providing such an environment and persons who promote this type of atmosphere in my life. I know that this is not common. I am certain this is unique. I am not surprised that few groups, and fewer families, know this precious treasure. I celebrate JESUS grace in providing the confidante(s), companion(s), and true friend(s) to me.
Full sigh and deep breath.
Repeat.
I have these blessed opportunities because of my relationship(s) remain unguarded and open to share my weaknesses, vulnerabilities, and insecurities. I have shared my true self and have found I am accepted and loved.
I have sometimes not understood everything that my close companion(s) has said. I have had to revisit our dialogue and ponder every word of the phrase until I see plainly and better comprehend the heart of their words.
This forum of truth is mutual and such a great gift that I can only turn my gleeful face to JESUS and say my most profound, "Thank you, LORD!!"
This environment of truth does not imply that every truth is a sweet treat. That is not possible in a sinful world. What it does mean is that even when the truth shared leaves us reeling in heartbreak and tears we embrace and weather the storm of truth, grateful that we do not face life liberating truth alone.
Full sigh and deep breath.
Repeat.
I pray that JESUS will provide you with the one, or few, with whom you can bare your heart. That you know the pleasant confidence to bear their burden(s) alike and together. I pray that you share their joys and sorrows, as equally as you share your own sorrows and joy. This is the way of those who love JESUS and love one another.
Full sigh and deep breath.
Repeat.
Feel free to shine,
One Light
