Victory!!!

Scriptural reference: Galatians 6:9 (KJV) "Be not weary in well doing, for in due season you will reap if you faint not."       I had a tantrum and fainted like a proper southern belle!!! I swooned and promptly fell unaware, soundless, and without a visible witness to call for help. I landed on the proverbial rock-bottom ground with my unrealized hopes and dreams splayed around me like copper and red hued dried leaves. I lay unconscious and still. I lay there in undignified, uncovered and unseemly wretchedness in the middle of the floor of my weary life. At first glance the collection of musical information noted on a page of sheet music doesn't look like much of a triumph. These few measures do not readily announce the effort, straining, tears and passion poured into a project that is still a work in progress. Live John 4:24

Scriptural Reference: John 4:24, "GOD is a Spirit, and they that worship HIM must worship HIM in spirit and truth." I need JESUS 24 hours of every day. I cannot wait for a 9-1-1 moment to suddenly turn to JESUS in prayer begging HIM to rescue me from an event, circumstance, situation or trial. I need JESUS to make it through my life's journey. Period. Peace:          is not the absence of sound. JESUS is peace. Tears:           are shed in sorrow and joy. Tears are the souls earnest prayer and praise.                         JESUS bottles the tears of those HE loves, and those who love HIM. Wells and Altars

There are some extraordinary examples in scripture of how GOD encountered frail, desperate, and hopeful humanity. Wells and altars are places in our life of faith where we discover GOD. At these wells and altars GOD reveals us to ourselves. We in turn, present ourselves back to GOD. At the wells we are refreshed. At the altars we sacrifice, surrender, and worship. Just like the sun is either about to rise, rising, or about to set, we are either at wells to be refreshed or we are at altars sacrificing, surrendering, and worshiping. This is true of the nature of following JESUS in the varied seasons and experiences of our life’s journey of faith. Since the earliest mention of GOD’s dealing with man in scripture (Genesis 4:4) we know of Abel, a man who honored GOD with an offering on an altar.
