Keep Listening to GOD

Visionary....

Scriptural Reference: Genesis chapters 12-22

You heard HIM call you from a life you were happy with into an unknown land HE knew you would be fulfilled by. Recall Abram and how GOD gently led him into a place he did not know. Amongst a people who did not know him or his GOD. 

Listen. 

Keep listening. 

Hear HIM speak again.

You heard GOD call you away to a place unseen and unknown to plant and build where you had not sown. It took faith and you listened then. As you've followed thus far, HE's whispered promises, "You will become many from few." Though you have known trial and tears by faith you keep listening. Hear HIM again as HE calls you to surrender.

Your new vision for HIS greatest plan is lain at the altar as an innocent lamb. You see your hopes, like a young child, quiet and still in your Father's hands. HE wants to hear you say, "Yes LORD - I surrender. Again. I give to YOU what YOU have given me." Turning in HIS hand it will become what HE destined it to be. Wait quietly at the place of obedient sacrifice. Listen for HIS quieting voice to whisper to you.

Wait.

Until you hear HIM again.

 

You don't want to rush from HIS Presence just yet.

 

If you hurry from the altar you might miss a step. Don't look to your own ability. Thinking you know what's next.

 

You don't want an Ishmael, born out of your haste. You want an Isaac, on time, by miraculous faith.

 

You were listening then.

 

Keep listening now.

 

Wait at the altar until you hear HIM speak again.

...and then ...
